1. http://skydivechicago.com/dive/dive_frame.html: This skydiving website provides information for first time jumpers. It explains in some detail what tandem jumping is. It also gives some information on prices and what to expect in the course. This includes a one hour instructional class or orientation to the course and then finally “A peaceful 5 minute canopy descent from 5,000 feet”. This site also contains many links for those people who are experienced and are looking for new adventures!
2. http://www.longislandskydiving.com/rates.asp: This skydiving website gives more insight to tandem jumping than the other site did. It also contains pricing information which is not much different from the others. Some interesting things about this site are the heath requirements that it lists. By this they mean that the student should be of a particular weight and height. This website is also unique in that it containes information about videotaping your jump which is an attractive option for me!
3. http://www.aroa.org/rafting-tips.htm: This river rafting website from the Arkansas River Outfitters Association (AROA) provides 6 helpful tips for rafting. Some of these tips include choosing the right instructor, place, and season. This site also discusses the importance of the experience level of the staff and the history of the facility. Most importantly this website gives tips on how to choose the right price!
4. http://www.riversearch.com/: This website allows people search some of the best rafting sights in the world. This site also advocates a safe and fun environment for those who choose to go with this company. By clicking on a continent you can find out where all of the white water rafting outfitters are located in that area. All one would need to do is click on their favorite continent and have fun!
5. http://www.surfbetter.com/: This is a site that teaches people how to surf via the internet and in person. This site doesn’t really give many tips on surfing, but does however, give a lot of information about where to sign up for beginners, intermediate, and advanced courses. They guarantee that anyone can double their surfing skills in half the time!
6. http://facs.scripps.edu/surf/l2surfII.html: This website is the most informative of all of the surfing websites that I found! It gives a break down of everything a beginning surfer would need to know before getting into the water. This website includes a list of essential equipment items for surfing like: a board, a leash, wax, clothing, and sunblock. This site gives a very detailed instruction on how to paddle out, duck dive, line up, and catch a wave. The most interesting and important part of this website are the unwritten rules of surfing. These include: wave ownership, dropping in, and paddling out.
7. http://www.readthewest.com/horseJAN2002.html: This horseback riding website provides a lot of great tips for teaching children how to ride. It mainly focuses on the safety aspect of riding as well as the importance of being knowledgeable about horses. This site also discusses the importance of keeping a set schedule in order to assert seriousness while teaching the child. The importance of proper clothing is stressed a great deal in this site. Lastly, this web site discuses how vital it is to ensure a fun safe environment for proper training.
8. http://www.funattic.com/game_list.htm: This website is dedicated to fun activities that can be done outdoors. Some of these games include: ball games, carnival games, card games, ice breakers, learning games, relay games, tag games, and water games. Each activity site includes a list of rules and supplies needed.
9. http://www.gocampingamerica.com/: This website provides a directory of RV parks and campgrounds. This site also helps with finding cabins, if parks and campgrounds are too outdoorsy for you. It also assists with accommodations while planning a trip and focuses on matching the right park for everyone’s needs. You can search by state or county or even by a name of the facility. All of this is done with the help of “Camper Conni”!
10. http://www.sonic.net/~rocky/abdangerswater.htm: This abalone diving website provides a lot if information about what an abalone is and tips on when and where to dive. Abalone are sea snails valued as a seafood delicacy. This website covers all the details in the following areas: wind, surf & swell, rough entries & exits, sneaker waves, currents, and entanglement.
11. http://gorp.away.com/gorp/activity/biking/bik_guid.htm: This mountain biking site provides some sponsored links to finding a great spot to ride. Some of these places include: Australia, S. Pacific, Canada, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, South America and the U.S. For the United States in particular you can search any state that interests you. You just click on your favorite state!
12. http://www.adventure-days.co.uk/Rock_Climbing/rock_climbing.html: This Rock climbing website provides a lot of information about intermediate and advanced courses that they provide. This website also includes details about classic climbs, abseilling, and indoor climbing. My favorite part about this site is the section that discusses details about climbing in Spain. Spain seems like an ideal place to climb because of its beautiful scenery. It also provides some good links for other great places to climb.
13. http://www.scotland-inverness.co.uk/activities.htm#cycling: This site focuses on off road cycling in Scotland. You can learn from this site about the many remote places in Scotland that there are to ride. This website also includes some different price ranges for these cycling trips as well as what other outdoor activities are included.
14. http://paintball.com/pb/newbies/: This was my most favorite website of all. It mainly deals with the frequently asked questions from people who are new to the sport of paintball. I like this site because I am really interested in knowing more about the sport. The two main safety tips that are discussed in this website are the importance of wearing goggles and head and ear protection. Some of the many questions include what type of gun to buy, what to wear, how to hide, and what facility to go to. I think that this is a great site for anyone who is interested in knowing more about paintball.

It also gives in small detail the surfer’s etiquette in the water. I liked this site because it provides some great tips for picking the right kind of board and how to ride a wave. I can appreciate any site that will give the inside scoop on how to “hang loose”.
16. http://et.sdsu.edu/theffernan/surfing/equipment.htm: I like this site because it provides a great learning opportunity for anyone who is new to the surfing world like me. This site give a little bit of information about what an average board should cost as well as where some of the most commonly surfed places are.
17. http://www.morocco-holidays.com/sports/surfen.htm: This is a great surfing website for anyone who is looking for beautiful scenery. This site focuses mainly on what Morocco’ beautiful beaches have to offer the sport of surfing. There are some details about prices as well as the many other activities that can be done on the beach other than surfing.
18. http://www.newdiver.com/gear/snorkel.shtml: This snorkeling website is great for newbies to the sport. This particular section focuses on the proper gear to wear while snorkeling as well as some great links to other snorkeling websites. This site also includes tips on places to snorkel and what the average cost should be. I really liked this website because it included some great safety tips for beginners.

I really enjoyed the gorgeous pictures of coral reefs. This site includes some of the national rules/regulations included in the sport of snorkeling as well as some other understood rules while out in the water. More importantly this site give some great safety tips while diving.
20. http://chvc2.netfirms.com/climb.htm#top5: This is a great climbing website. It provides some important tips for climbing. Some of these include tips on moving upward, resting, and proper foot positioning. Also included on this website are some important technique tips as well as some suggestions on proper hand grips. This site provides some sponsored links to places to climb as well as great training facilities.
