Critical Writing Program

Critical Tools Server at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi

Critical Tools offers a suite of six, web-based, courseware modules designed primarily for Literature and Composition courses but which can be used for courses across a wide range of disciplines. The six modules can be set up independent of each other; Instructors can pick and choose the modules that best fit the needs of their course. Modules available on this server are:
  1. Annotator  - annotate passages from a user-selected text
  2. BiblioFile  - build bibliographies with MLA-style citations
  3. Discussion Forum  - engage in on-line conversations
  4. Interactive Archives  - organize materials into hypertextual libraries
  5. AddLink  - contribute and arrange course-related Web links
  6. Class Contact  - generate a roster with unique e-mail features
In order to use Critical Tools for your class you must have a Critical Tools account and the administrative password. Please contact Dr. Glenn Blalock for further information. If you already have a Critical Tools account, then proceed to the Critical Tools Setup page. NOTE: You must have the administrative password to view the setup page!
